Myra Frances Gutierrez

January 2, 1947 – March 18, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, great grandmother and friend. Mom’s journey has come to an end, she fought hard against the Cancer right to the end. Mom passed away, as she wished for at home with her family.

Myra was born in Calgary, AB, but lived most of her life in Chilliwack and anyone who had the privilege to know her knew that she was a very kind and loving person who always had a smile and kind hearted “hello”. She opened her heart and home to many over the years and she will be greatly missed by many, many people.

Myra leaves behind her daughters Mamey (Danny), Tracey (Laurie); son Thomas; grandchildren Ryan, Dakoda (Mila), Terrance (Maranda), Joseph (Georgina); great grandchildren Kiara, Oliver, Demetris, Kiy, Sequoia, Dontah, Malakai, and Zoey.

Myra was predeceased by her one true love Frisco, her son Rueban, her son Kevin, her sister Karen (Winkie), her mother Hamida, and her father John.

Myra had such a beautiful soul, her family and friends meant everything to her and she will be missed deeply!

Due to the current situation with the Corona Virus a celebration of mom’s life will be held at a later date.
