Patricia Louise Johnston (nee Baker)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Pincher Creek, she spent most of her younger years living in Lethbridge, Alberta with her parents John and Flora Baker. With a passion for caring for others, she pursued her dreams and went to nursing school, dedicating her life to helping those in need.

Our mother's journey led her to Chilliwack, where she met the love of her life, Bob. Together, they shared an incredible 52 years of marriage, filled with love, laughter and countless cherished memories. As a devoted mother, she raised two wonderful daughters, Jeanette (Paul) and Stacey ( Bryan). She was also the proud Nama of her two grandsons Jake and Aidan, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

She had a passion for traveling, which allowed her to explore new places and create lasting memories. Mom was also an avid bingo player, finding delight in the game. Her love for sewing and making dolls showed her creative side as well as provide countless treasures that will be cherished by many.

Throughout her life, she maintained long-lasting friendships and connections with family, which brought her immense happiness. Her warmth and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers as well as a huge shout out to Auntie Lee, Auntie Sharon and Auntie Lorraine along with many friends and family who were there for Mom and us during this time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Evergreen Hall in the Slesse Room, located at 9291 Corbould Street, Chilliwack, British Columbia. The event is scheduled for December 6, 2025, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
