Robert Burnett passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Cascade Hospice at the age of 75 years. Bob was born on June 1, 1937 in Hamilton, Ontario and moved to BC in the 1960’s. He was an auto mechanic for many years and loved to watch his Nascar races. Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 35 years, Brenda; son Duane; sister Mary; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; 3 great nephews; and many other family members. He was predeceased by parents Bert and Gwen Burnett.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack followed by Inurnment at Maple Ridge Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Memorial donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
