Ron Gerbrandt

After a brief unexpected illness Ron moved to his new home in heaven to be with his Lord and Saviour. He was predeceased by his father, mother, and nephew. Ron was a devoted husband to his wife of 43 years, Sandy; and a loving father to daughters Lisa (Rod) Halsall, and Mandy Santos. He was cherished by his siblings Vic, Vivian (Russ) Keys, Randy (Sharon), Bonnie Mayer Gerbrandt, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Ron was born April 24, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Chilliwack. He worked with his brother in their drywall business for over a decade, and then moved on to a career in car sales at Mertin GM for almost 30 years. When not at work Ron had many passions such as softball, golf, driving his Camaro, and spending

time with his family and friends. Whether at work or play Ron was kind, patient, and a good listener.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Chilliwack General Hospital Emergency department and Abbotsford Regional Hospital ICU for their tireless efforts during the last days of Ron’s life.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 from 7-9pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack. A memorial will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday February 7th, 2018 at Chilliwack Alliance Church, 8700 Young Rd, Chilliwack.
