Rosa was born on October 28, 1939, in Vittoria, Ragusa, Sicily, where her life began surrounded by the warmth of family, tradition, and the vibrant Sicilian spirit. She later married the love of her life, Filippo (Philippe) Argieri, and together they bravely immigrated to Canada to build a new beginning filled with hope, opportunity, and a future for the family they dreamed of raising.
Rosetta and Philippe raised four children—three sons and one daughter—and built a life grounded in love, resilience, and devotion. Though she is now a widow reunited with her beloved Filippo, Rosa’s legacy continues through her surviving children: sons Antonio (Tony) Argieri, Alberto (Bert) Argieri, Marco Argieri, daughter Carmela Aragon, and her cherished granddaughter Alicia Aragon, who was a constant source of joy in her life.
A strong-willed, loving, and generous woman, Rosa dedicated herself fully to her family and to those around her. She was a provider in every sense—nurturing her home with delicious home-cooked meals, hand-crafted creations, lush gardens, and the warmth and comfort that made her home a gathering place for all. She found joy in dancing, camping, crafts, gardening, cooking, and caring for animals, each bringing her happiness and connection to the world around her.
Rosa was not only devoted to her family but also to her community. She proudly gave over 30 years of service to Vancouver General Hospital as a Sterile Supply Technician, where her dedication, professionalism, and kindness left a lasting impression. Over these three decades, she formed deep bonds with her coworkers—relationships that blossomed from simple workplace connections into lifelong friendships and a true family-like dynamic.
For the past 20 years, Rosa made her home in Chilliwack, British Columbia, where she found peace, comfort, and a sense of belonging. It is there, in the place she loved and called home, that she will be laid to rest.
Rosa will be remembered for her strength, her compassion, her unwavering work ethic, and the love she poured into every part of her life. She touched the hearts of many and leaves behind a legacy that will endure in the memories of all who knew her.
Though her presence will be profoundly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that **she can now rest in peace and join her beloved Filippo for endless ballroom dances**, reunited once more in love and harmony.
May her memory be eternal, and may her life continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
