Buck was born March 16, 1948, at St. Paul’s Hospital Vancouver, BC to Alex and Jeanne Black. He dedicated 31 years of his life to the BC Ambulance Service as a Paramedic, retiring as a Superintendent in 2011.
Buck loved to spend his time, exploring the outdoors alone or with family by his side. He was passionate about reading, fishing, hiking, ATVing, snowmobiling and sharing his cabin with friends and family.
Buck is survived by his loving wife Lynn, sons Jerry (Tanya) Black, Jeff (Brittany) Black, daughters Jennifer (Dale) Aune, and Ashleigh (Burton) Reynolds. Grateful grandchildren Aiden, Ethan, Amelia, Jacob, Linden and Maddex.
Memorial donations may be made to the BC Search and Rescue Association, Outdoor Recreation Council of BC or BC Cancer Research.
