Alan Dale Roberts

Alan Dale Roberts, 61 of China Grove went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2017 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. Born in Texas on March 12, 1956 Alan was the son of the late Joe A. Roberts and Doris Edwards. His loves were his pets KJ and Brandie, spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, and sitting on the deck at home. Alan was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove, NC. Alan was a professional residential and commercial painter.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife April Wood Roberts of 25 years, Sons, Jason Barr (Jennifer) of Charlotte, Casey Tyner (Shelby) of Midland, Terry Tyner (Brittany) of Concord, daughters, Rhonda Cornish (Ray) of Landis, Kacie Roberts of Kannapolis, Jennifer Nicole Roberts of Texas, brothers Jeffrey and Joey Roberts, niece Mary Beth Wood, great-niece Coralie Wood, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, mother in law Geraldine Wood, and a special friend Cathy Tyner.

The family will receive friends at Concordia Lutheran Church on Sunday, December 10 from 1:30-3:00 pm followed by the service by Pastors Ken Reed and Larry Bost at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.
