Beverly Ann Doby

Born in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Doby and Barbara Crowder Doby, who survives.

Beverly graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School- Class of 1972 and was a home health caregiver. She was a member of First Baptist Church of China Grove.

Beverly loved sewing, crafting and spending time with her family.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Barbara Crowder Doby; daughters, Donna Huffman (Billy Wayne Huffman) and Paula Collins (Cory Collins); five grandchildren, Michael Huffman, Justin Terrones, Brandon Huffman, Celine Terrones and Caleb Collins; and one great-granddaughter, Maizie Huffman.

Beverly is further survived by her siblings, Yency Doby, Frankie Doby, Gene Doby and Tobitha Stewart.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Visitation, Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church of China Grove.
