

Carl Brown Bradshaw, 86 of China Grove passed away on August 5, 2016 at Trinity Oaks Lutheran Home. He was born on July 8, 1930 to the late Rupert Wells Bradshaw and Mae Nance Bradshaw. Carl proudly served his country as a United States Marine in the Korean War. He worked as a supervisor at Owens Illinois where he retired in 1985. Carl was a lifetime member of Mount Zion United Church of Christ in China Grove. His passion was automobiles, tractors and anything mechanical. He had a strong work ethic and loved his family. Carl was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hampton Bradshaw, his son, Scott Bradshaw (Carmen), two daughters, Rebecca Leinbach (Evans) and Sandy Welch; his brother and sister, William Bradshaw and Ruby Mault, and eight grandchildren, Katie Bradshaw, C. T. Welch (Mackenzie), Mandoline Pittman, Alisha Sears, Clifton Welch, Evans Leinbach III, Dalton Bradshaw and Cassidy Sears.
The visitation was held on Monday August 8, 2016 from 1:30 till 3:00 pm at Mount Zion United Church of Christ with funeral following at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mark Burns, officiating. Memorials may be made to Mount Zion New Sanctuary Fund or Trinity Oaks Lutheran Home. Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Bradshaw.
