Charles William Christie

Charles William Christie, age 78, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was a long-term resident of Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis due to his declining health and left a huge circle of friends from there.

Born in Rowan County on February 25, 1947, He was the son of the late John Jess Christie and Polly Ann Christie.

Charles had hobbies such as fishing and watching NASCAR, but the thing that truly defined him was his love for his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his Loving first wife of 10 years, Ann Christie; son, Charles Christie Jr.; and brother, John Christie.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Gary Christie (Marcie); sister, Judy Christie Miller (Jerry); uncle, James Garret (Fay); cousin, Wayne Christie (Diane); wife, Nancy.

Charles is further survived by his best friends Edward Johnson and Dennis Hughes; and several nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

The family will Have a small Memorial Service Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
