Charles Arthur Kimball

Salisbury-Charles Arthur Kimball, 74, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Rowan Region Medical Center. Born August 16, 1939 in Rowan County, he was the son the late Karl Elmer kimball and Brodus Eudy Kimball Miller. A graduate of China Grove High, Mr. Kimball was a member of Lutheran Chapel Church and was retired. He loved spending time with his family and friends as they played games, went fishing and traveled together. Always willing to help others, Mr. Kimball was a fun-loving man who liked to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Alan Kimball, and a grandson, Andrew King.

Family members left with cherished memories include his sons, Karl Kimball and wife Donna, and John Kimball and wife, Susan; his sister, Joleen Propst and husband, Harry; grandchildren, Caleb Kimball, Nathaniel and Kandus Kimball, Heather Ramseur and husband, Jared and Jonathan King; his great-grandchildren, Brianna, Makalyn, Jaden and Ella Ramseur.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 3:00-4:30 at inn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. A memorial service to remember and celebrate his life will be at 4:30 in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Steve Wilson. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
