Dorcas Rosaleah Beaver

Dorcas was born on July 30, 1939 in Wheeling West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Raymond Barbe and Ada Prince Barbe. She was one of nine children and the last surviving member. Professionally, she was a seamstress and later in life she worked in school cafeterias. She loved gardening and particularly loved to be with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her daughters, Terri Lynn Stuntz, Lori Edwards and Gail Beaver Swinson and five brothers and three sisters.

Those with cherished memories are her husband of 34 years, Carl L. Beaver; children, Jack Stuntz, Jr. (Jennifer), Anita Holman (David), and Lynn Beaver (Debbie). She is also survived by her grandchildren J.D., Jacinth, Jeremy, John, Jack, Crystal, Jesse, Allison, Joshua and Jessica and Seven Great-Grandchildren.

Private family visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with graveside services scheduled for 11:45 am Monday at Salisbury National Cemetery with Rev. Ken Clapp officiating.
