Born in Arlington, VA on July 26, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Lauren Hunter Hereford and Martha Jane Kosko.
In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her husband, Buford Pearson; one son, Brian Keith Ellison and one granddaughter, Heather Joiner.
Doris loved watching wrestling and game shows, especially Family Feud. She enjoyed caring for rescue animals and attending her Ladies Bunco group. But her greatest enjoyment in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
