Doris Sechler Waugh

Born on April 24, 1932 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Troy Sechler and Elnora Stirewalt Sechler.

Educated in the China Grove schools, she was an lifelong member of Landis, Baptist Church.

Professionally she worked for many years at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis. She enjoyed doing yard work and watching things grow. Having meals together with her family was very important to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Waugh. Also preceding her are her brother Wayne Sechler (Martha) and her sister Drusilla Menscer.

Those with cherished memories are her son Eddie Wayne Waugh (Cindy), daughters Telia Waugh Seaford (Charles) and Luanne Waugh Sharp. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Candice Euart (Jason), Joshua Eddinger (Tiffany), Leslie Harrison, Lyndsie Wise, Lacey Tompkins, Travis Waugh, Alanna Waugh and Allyssa Waugh. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home with funeral to follow also at the funeral home with Pastor Joel Ervin, officiating.

Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park

The family would like to thank the staff of Carolina Caring Hospice and Telia and Charles Seaford for their care for Mrs. Waugh during her illness.
