Frances Wilkinson Shoe

Mrs. Frances Wilkinson Shoe, 92 of Kannapolis went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Best of Care Nursing Home. Born on April 1, 1921 in Taylorsville, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Bertha Bumgarner. A graduate of Alexander County School, she was a longtime member of West Corinth Baptist Church. She worked for Cannon Mills in the towel department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Bruce Wilkinson in 1956 and Robert Lee Shoe in 2009, sons Bobby Wilkinson and Rev. James Michael Wilkinson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grand children and 7 great great grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter Kay Wilkinson Faw and husband Rev. Garland Faw of Salisbury, and daughers in law Rita Wilkinson of Dallas Tx, and Mary Ann Wilkinson of Swansboro, NC. Visitation will be on Tuesday at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove from 6:00 til 8:00, with funeral on Wednesday at 2:00 at West Corinth Baptist Church on Hwy 152 W. in Mooresville with Rev.
