Glenn Lee Morgan

Mr. Glenn Lee Morgan age 97 of Rockwell passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home. He was born on November 28, 1927 in Rowan County and was the son of the late Robert Morgan and E. Beulah Waller Morgan. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, he worked at NC Finishing Company. He enjoyed going to car shows and taking trips to the beach and mountains.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Cranford Morgan and his second wife Helen Sloop Morgan as well as his brother Alvin Gregg Waller and sister Marggie Louise Morgan Beck. Those with cherished memories are his sons Tony Morgan (Betty) and Perry Dean Morgan (Deborah) and step daughters Joyce Powell and Judy Sloan (David). His grandchildren are Stacy Morgan Cranfield (Shane), Perry Dean Morgan II, Robert Glenn Morgan (Jennifer), Michael Lee Morgan ,Eric Overcash and Jason Overcash and great grandchildren, Devon Blake Morgan, Dakota Blake Cranfield, Summer Rayne Cranfield and Simi Rose Cranfield. He was also survived by his two great great grandchildren, Robert Glenn Morgan II and Katelynn Marie Morgan.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home from 1:00 till 2:00 pm with funeral to follow at 2:00 pm also at the funeral home with Pastor Steven DeWalt, officiating. Burial will follow at Providence United Methodist Cemetery in Salisbury.
