
Harold Monroe WInecoff, 82 of China Grove, died Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. Born July 2, 1940 in Rowan County, he was the last remaining child of the late Lewis Bradley and Ethel Mae Safrit Winecoff.
He was a 1958 graduate of China Grove High School and a 1962 graduate of High Point College.
Harold was employed by the Department of Defense Mapping Agency retiring in Washington D.C. He was well known for his many years of Duplicate Bridge playing as well as educating others of the game. He was a board member of St. Louis and of Salisbury area and as board member and President of the Charlotte Area. He was a member of the American Contract Bridge League.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Winecoff and sisters Violet Beaver, Ola Mae Horton and Helen Helms.
Survivors include wife, Carol Ann Sievers Winecoff of 51 years. Also included are multiple nieces and nephews as well as great and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 10:00 till 11:00 am at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral to follow at 11:00 also at the funeral home with Pastor Will Van Wieren officiating.
Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park
