

Born in Rowan County on January 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Barnhardt and Lenoila Wagner Barnhardt.
Hazel worked at DuPont as a secretary for a brief time but primarily spent her life as a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing Bridge.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Salisbury, where she volunteered and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She also enjoyed her work with the Republican Women.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Stanley Bradley; her second husband, Lewis Kirk and her son, Greg Bradley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Irene) Bradley of Southport, NC and Kenneth (Vanessa) Bradley of China Grove, NC; three grandchildren, William Bradley, Amanda (Robert) Steck and Sara (Austin) Sorg and four great grandchildren, Colette Steck, Charleston Steck, Bobbie Steck and Avery Ann Sorg.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at West Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jason Harvey officiating.
