Horace Glen Davis

Horace Glen Davis, age 83 of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at his residence. He was born on December 8, 1941 in Cabarrus County and was the son of the late Charles Davis and Ruby Mae Thompson Davis. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Salisbury and proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Professionally, he was a district manager of Western Southern Insurance. Panning for gold and writing music were some of his enjoyments when he wasn’t working. Playing softball and helping with his grandchildren’s ball playing was very important to him.

Those with cherished memories are his wife of 60 years, Brenda Mabry Davis, his daughters Sandra Elaine Davis, Cheryl Lynn Davis and Leslie Davis and his grandchildren Hallie Davis, Tommy Davis, John Davis and Victoria Davis.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 10:00 am till 11 :00 am at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 11 :00am also at the funeral home with Pastor Jesse Davis, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
