Janice Patterson

she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Ida Mae Harris Hurley. Educated in the Stanly County Schools and at RCCC, she attended Beulah Land Baptist Church. Mrs. Patterson worked in childcare for many years at Childsplay Daycare, where she was a director. She loved her Lord, family and friends, and enjoyed working with flowers and yard work.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul Hildreth and a granddaughter, Melissa Sue Bowers. Family members left with cherished memories include her husband of 32 years, Charles Patterson, who she married on June 26, 1980, her sons, Tony Hildreth and wife, Renee of Norwood, John Hildreth and wife, Becky of China Grove, Trent Patterson and wife, Wanette of Troutman, Andy Patterson and wife, Pam of Simpsonville, SC, her daughters, Janice Christine Martin, Hopewell, VA. and Alisha Nasse of Atlanta, brothers, Wayne (Kathy Lunita), Robert (Nora), Danny (Jeannie), Ricky (Amy) Hurley all of Albemarle and Benny Hurley (Sara) of Salisbury, her sisters, Brenda Greene (Harold) of Norwood and Peggy Christie (Ralph) of Salisbury, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 PM At Linn=Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Revs. Don Crusenberry and Trent Patterson. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
