Born on September 9, 1945 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late George Grady Head and Roberta Eller Head. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading religious books, enjoyed cooking and being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Doolittle, and her daughter Pamela Doolittle.
Those with cherished memories are her sons Rangie Bumgarner (Debbie), Johnny Doolittle (Lisa), Steve Doolittle and Dewey Doolittle. She is also survived by her brother Tony Head and sister Patricia Walters along with 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home with funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel, followed by the burial at West Lawn Memorial Park.
