I have known Ken many years through our hardware store in Walkertown. Always enjoyed seeing him and talking railroad with him as my grandfather was a railroad man all his life. My condolences to his family, may you be surrounded by Gods love and find comfort and peace in the coming days.

Ken took the time to help me when I needed someone the most. I was making real changes to improve my life. He took a chance on me and gave me job. I had no idea that the job would make such an impact. I got to know him and Falyn and his aunt clarice. Such a blessing that they all became. This saddens me. My heart goes out to his family!

I worked with Ken at the NC Transportation museum for 9 years. He was one of the hardest working people I've ever known. I don't think he ever went more than 5 minutes without laughing. He had a positive influence on everyone who was around him.
