Mrs. Linda Gail Cook Parker age 68 of China Grove passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Born on December 24, 1954 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late William Richard Cook and Elsie Mae Byers Cook.
She was a graduate of South Rowan High School and was of the Baptist faith. Earlier in life, she worked at China Grove Cotton Mills, and then later went to Sam’s Club in retail. Her passions were baking, traveling with her sister and being with her grandchildren.
Those left with cherished memories are her husband of 50 years, Richard E. Parker, sons Ricky Parker (Karen) and Todd Parker (Christina) as well as a sister Betty Woodie. Her grandchildren are Jacob, Sarah, Ashley, Brandon and Zachary Parker.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral to follow at 11:00 am also at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Scercy, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
