Lonnie Wayne Cline Jr.

Mr. Lonnie Wayne Cline Jr. 53 passed away on Saturday August 13, 2011 at his residence. Born on January 4, 1958 in Chignon, France, he was the son of the late Lonnie Wayne Cline Sr. and Hella Voegele Cline. A graduate of A. L. Brown High School, he was a loom fixer at Fieldcrest Cannon. Mr. Cline was a longtime member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. His hobbies include hunting and fishing. He had adopted a highway in honor of his sons.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sons, Lonnie Wayne Cline III. and wife Nicole of China Grove, Adolphus "Dusty" Cline Sr. and wife Tabatha of Kernersville. Brother Mark Cline and sisters, Nonie Link and husband George, Ruby Poplin and husband David and Cindy Marze and husband Doug. Grandchildren, Summer Cline, McKenzie Cline, Carleigh Cline and Adolphus Cline Jr. Uncles Elbert Cline and Herman Cline and wife Joan survive him as well. He is also survived by a lonetime friend; Hank Chandler.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 at Ebenezer Lutheran Churh with Rev. Bob Young, minister. The family will recieve friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
