Paul Gibson Freeze

Mr. Paul Gibson Freeze, 94 of Davidson, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. Born on July 3, 1921 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Gibson Alexander and Florence Victoria Bostian Freeze. A graduate of Rowan County schools, he was a longtime member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and was in the US Navy serving in the South Pacific during WWII. Mt. Freeze retired from Pillowtex Mills in 1986, where he worked in Plant 4 weave room. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Mary Lee Rodgers Freeze on August 8, 2000., brothers Floyd, Earl, Clyde, Albert, J.B. and Tillman Freeze and sister Cora Lee Rufty.Those left to cherish his memory is his daughter Karen P. Freeze of Concord and sister Helen Rary of China Grove.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 til 11:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral at 11:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Charlie Gibbons, minister. Burial will follow at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
