

Born in Rowan County on June 2, 1939, she was daughter of the late James Franklin Allman and Thelma Wilcox Allman.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Allman.
After graduating from Landis High School, Peggy worked at Cannon Mills, then in food service with Rowan County Schools. She also volunteered with Millbridge Elementary School.
Peggy enjoyed keeping her family and neighbors stocked with homemade canned jams and fresh breads. She was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Grady Louis Bostian, with whom she had shared almost 66 years of marriage together.
Also surviving are her children, Francine Bostian Middleton (Billy), Teresa Bostian McDaniels (Mike), Brian Bostian and Jeanette Bostian Sawyer; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and her sister, Patricia Johnson, affectionately known as “Sister”.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM in the Northcrest Chapel with Rev. Rodney Efird and Rev. Jeff Upright officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
