Peggy Earle

Mrs. Peggy Gibson Earle, 81, of China Grove, passed away on Friday October 16, 2015 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home. Born on August 11, 1934 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late George and Zelia Lefler Gibson. Mrs. Earl attended Granite Quarry High School and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She worked for the NC License Plate Agency as a contractor from 1971 until present. She worked with Relay For Life, Heart Attack for Life and was a breast cancer survivor. She was also a military wife for 20 years. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jerry Dean Earle Sr. and son Jerry Dean Earle Jr.(Joan) and daughter Pamela Earl Morgan (Dennis White), both of China Grove. She was also survived by her sister, Mary Gibson Barger of Salisbury as well as 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 6:00 til 8:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral on Monday at 1:00 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Revs Bruce Sheeks and Kay Overcash, ministers. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 3070 E. NC 152, Salisbury, NC 28146.
