Sue Beaver Driver

Salisbury-Sue Marlene Beaver Driver, 72, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at CMC-Pineville, from complications following bypass surgery. Born August 20, 1942 in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Robert Clifford and Nellie Mae Brawley Beaver. Sue attended China Grove High and had been a loyal employee of Granite Knitwear for 29 years. A member of Bethany Bible Church, she was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Driver will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Travis Driver. Family members left to cherish her memory include her much loved sons, Travis Driver and wife Alicia, of Faith, and Tim Driver of Cleveland and his fiancee, Gracie Fox; her sisters, Kathryn Upright (Bruce), of Kannapolis and Patsy Safrit, of Rockwell; and her grandchildren, Megan and Dylan Driver. A memorial celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2015, at Bethany Bible Church, 623 N. Juniper Avenue, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
