Thomas Kelly Wilkinson

Mr. Thomas Kelly Wilkinson 67 of Salisbury, passed away on Monday June 27, 2016 at his residence. Born on October 25, 1948 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Clay Lee and Ruth Howard Wilkinson. A 1967 graduate of South Rowan High School, he was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in China Grove. Mr. Wilkinson retired from Hoechst Celanese Co. as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and going to White Lake. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife Nancy Blackwelder Wilkinson, to whom he was married for 43 years. In addition he was survived by his daughters, Kelley W. Vinson (Josh) of Myrtle Beach and Kristi W. Hewell (Max) of China Grove. Also surviving him are his grandchildren Olivia and Victoria Vinson and Andrew Hewell. His surviving brother is John Wilkinson (Debi) of Mooresville and brother in law Don Blackwelder (Sharon) of Mooresville and sisters include Sandy McKinney (Mike) of Statesville, Bonnie Christenberry (John) of Apex and Renee Holloway (David) of Mooresville. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7:00 til 9:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with memorial service on Wednesday at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church in China Grove with Rev.
