She had one older brother Junior. Growing up she liked to play baseball and tennis and was involved in Brownie Scouting. He went to South Rowan High School, where Bible was her favorite class. She went on to study Law Enforcement and earned her degree. Growing up she was friends with Beth Mason, Scott, Kelly Hill and Jody. She had one son Jesse, and a grandchild Isabelle. Her work was as a detention officer for Rowan County Sheriffs Department. Tina liked gardening, playing tennis and watching racing and football. Going to the beach and mountains were her favorites along with her dog Buddy the dauchsund, which she had for 7 years. She lived her life out in Rowan County until her death at the Kiser Hospice House, after fighting a brave battle against small cell cancer. Surviving her was her Mother Louise and her son Jesse. Her funeral was held in the chapel of Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home.
