

She attended school and graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She met her handsome husband Willie James Rox in 1956. Her second greatest joy was the birth of her daughter Rhonda Ann Rox. Their immense love for one another was one to be marveled. In 1973, Willie relocated his family from Cleveland, Ohio to Pasadena, California for a better way of life. Alice enjoyed life. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a contagious smile and you always felt welcomed in her home. She took great pleasure in cooking and entertaining.
Alice had an entrepreneurial spirit. She worked as a Paralegal for The Beverly Hills City Attorneys’ Office for 15 years. She was kind, generous, loving, compassionate and always had an ear for listening. Alice will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and a tremendous sister, aunt and friend. She left an indelible impression on countless individuals.
Her homegoing on August 27, 2016, is a tremendous loss to her family, friends and community. She leaves to mourn her beautiful and adoring daughter Rhonda Ann Rox, 2 brothers; Richard Clark and James Clark, 2 sisters; Catherine Sims and Ruby Bailey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister Christine Taylor.
