Carmen Flores de Martinez, 79, of Chino, passed away on January 22, 2014 in Ontario. She was born to Claudio Flores and Dolores Silva on July 15, 1934 in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico and was a Chino resident for 12 years. Carmen dedicated her life to raising her children and taking care of her growing family. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Chino.
Carmen will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her 11 children Concepcion Martinez, Maria Luisa Martinez, Rigoberto Martinez, Jose Antonio Martinez, Rosa Maria Martinez, Ricardo Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Ramona Martinez, Raquel Martinez, Juan Carlos Martinez and Ana Cristina Martinez; 37 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation hours will be 5 pm to 9 pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Pierce Brothers Griffith Mortuary in Chino with rosary at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 am, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Chino. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Colton.
