Christopher Shawn Graven

Born May 7th, 1983 at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, CA. To Timothy & Virginia (Ginny) Graven. He was the youngest of three boys, brothers Patrick & Kevin. He graduated from Chino High School June 16, 2001. After moving from Ontario, CA. to Chino, and CA. in 1987, he became part of the Breckinridge Boys. One of 15 boys on the street. They all played sports in the street every night until dark and played on many little leagues, soccer, and high school sports together. He played little league baseball at Chino American Little League & All Stars, all with his dad as Manager and mom as Team Mom. He played football for two years at Chino High but his main love was baseball which he played for 4 years mostly as an infielder; until he found golf. The first time he played at age 5 he hit a hole in one at Chino Creek at a par 3 course. Golf continued to be a favorite sport and, playing on the Men’s club at Prado Golf Course. As well as softball with some of the same childhood friends and many new ones. He met Donielle (Donie) in 2014 at Big League Dreams Softball Field. Their relationship continued to grow and they became the parents of Brody & Brantley. They eloped quietly on a beach in Maui on April 28, 2022, with about 35 of their family and friends. A favorite place for both of them. Christopher worked at America’s Tire, Chili’s Restaurant, and The Office Bar, where he also worked with Donnie. His current job was with the Riboli Family Wines as the warehouse and shipping manager for San Antonio Winery. He passed quietly on July 2, 2023, after a short battle with ALS. He leaves behind his wife Donie, son’s Brody Thomas and Brantley Christopher. His mom and dad, Ginny & Tim, brothers Patrick, Kevin, and their wife’s, Shauna & Hilda, in laws, Deanna and Charlie Akroush, Sister’s and Brother’s in law, Brianna and Ryan Foley, Lexi and Brandon Michalek, 14 nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends. You will be missed Christopher.

A memorial mass for Christopher will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 12686 Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710.
