Dianne Elder

Dianne Elder, 64, of Pomona passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 in Pomona, CA . She was born in Curve Lake, Ontario, Canada. Prior to her move to Pomona, Dianne lived in Ontario, CA for 10 years. She graduated from Sierra Vista High School in Baldwin Park. Before her retirement in 1995 she was an Assistant Manager for Treasure Hunt. Dianne is survived by her children; Janet and John Elder, Parents Algene Rosalind Connard, Edwin S. Taylor, siblings David Connard, Susan Rolewicz, Robert Connard, Ramona Marquez, Erleene Connard, Jenny Lee Butterfly, Edwin Gilbert , grandchildren Avelena Camacho, Clarissa, Brianna and John Elder III. She is preceded in death by her brothers Mark Taylor, Rodney Connard, Truman Shilling and Trudy Shilling.

They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true, but we never wanted memories, we only wanted you.

A million times we've needed you, a million times we've cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a special place, no one else could ever fill.

If tears could build a staircase, and heartache build a lane, we'd walk the path to Heaven, and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
