Elvira DiTomasso

Elvira DiTomasso, 93, of Chino, passed away on August 9, 2016 at Kaiser Hospital in Ontario. She was born to Gandolfo and Michela Giunta on July 29, 1923 in Sicily, Italy. Elvira resided in Chino, California for 37 years. She was a waitress for 25 years and worked at Papa D'Carlo Restaurant in Los Angeles and Lupo D’Abruzzo Restaurant in Buena Park. A faithful parishioner and religious woman, Elvira attended St. Margaret Mary Church in Chino. Elvira loved her family and is survived by her son Frank DiTomasso, daughter Louise Paul, son Michael DiTomasso; grandchildren Joseph DiTomasso, Brittany Karcher, Kirstie DiTomasso and one great-grandchild.

Visitation hours will be 4 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Funeraria del Angel Chino with rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino. Interment will follow at 1:01 p.m. at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. In memory of Elvira, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
