Geraldine May Dose

Geraldine (Jeri) May Dose, a beloved and cherished member of her community, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on May 23, 1940, in Crookston, Minnesota, Geraldine was known for her adventurous spirit and thoughtful nature. She was a devoted and loyal individual who touched the lives of many.

Geraldine worked in the medical field, dedicating her life to helping others. On June 30, 1961, she married David (Jim) Corbett Jr., with whom she welcomed two children, David (Jimmy) Corbett III, who is now deceased, and Dana Lynn Smith. Geraldine married Louis Dose on August 17, 1985, bringing into the marriage his son Edward Allen Dose and daughter Jeanette Michelle Passalaqua.

Geraldine was a thoughtful and devoted family member who enjoyed camping at Heart Bar, Lake Silverwood, Glamis, hosting pool parties at her home, and celebrating Christmas Eve at Nana's and Papa Lou's house. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Wassenaar, her mother, Jeanette Wassenaar, her son, David (Jimmy) Corbett III, her husband, Louis Dose and her son, Edward Dose. She is survived by her daughters, Dana Lynn Smith and Jeanette Passalaqua, as well as nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, her sister Joyce Schoon, her brother Joe Wassenaar, and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on January 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chino, located at 13002 South Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710. The committal service will take place on January 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Green Hills Mortuary & Memorial Chapel, 27501 S Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
