Jesus Granillo Vasquez

Jesus G. Vasquez, 84 years of age, passed away on February 11, 2016. He was born on April 28, 1931 to Estanislado Vasquez and Selina Granillo Vasquez. Jesus was a life time Chino resident. His experience as he was growing up were; Date picker, railroad switcher, tile truck driver, tile setter, General Dynamics sheet metal operator and then promoted to an inspector and Friegherliner. Jesus spent his time enjoying his hobbies with American Little League from 1959 to 1972 where he was president of the league and was also an advisor for the Little League District 23 for 10 years and Founding member of San Bernardino Western Region Little League. He also volunteered with the American Legion Post 299 and was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Chino and an active parishioner and member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino. Left to cherish his memory are his loving 3 children; Lupe, William and Ruben. He is also survived by his beloved 6 grandchildren; Gene, Kimberly, Michael, Terryn, Lucas, Justin and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Esther Serna Vasquez in November 21, 2011. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino with a funeral mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona.
