May 12, 1937 – April 30, 2026
Lucille Marie Reyes, age 88, passed peacefully on the afternoon of April 30, 2026, surrounded by her daughters and family. Born in Los Angeles, California, she made her home in Pomona, California, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love.
Our hearts are shattered as we share the passing of our beloved mother. While the pain of losing her is immeasurable, we find comfort knowing she is now reunited with our father, Arthur, and all the loved ones who went before her, resting peacefully in the eternal embrace of the Lord she trusted and loved so faithfully throughout her life.
Mom lived a long, beautiful, and grace-filled life. She was the heart of our family—the one we turned to for comfort, guidance, strength, and endless love. Her faith carried her through every joy and every hardship, and she taught all of us what it means to love selflessly, forgive freely, and trust God completely.
To know her was to know warmth, kindness, quiet demeanor and unwavering devotion. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a love that made everyone around her feel safe and cherished. Whether through her prayers, her comforting words, her quiet strength, she made each of us feel deeply loved.
She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses:
Mary Christine & Leopoldo, Ally & Robert, Angelina & David, Andrea & Tony.
She also leaves behind 13 beloved grandchildren:
Patrick, Noelle, Sebastian, Gabrielle Andrew, Natalie, Sara, Patricia, Vieanna, Elizabeth, Matthew, Savannah and Samuel;
And 12 cherished great-grandchildren:
Aurelia, Isabella, Lelia, Belen, Trenton, Jake, Peyton, Oliver, Arturo, Luz, Evangeline, and a precious baby due in October.
Her love lives on in each of us—in the traditions she created, the values she instilled, the memories we hold close, and the deep bond she nurtured within our family. Though our lives will never be the same without her, we are forever grateful for every moment, every lesson, every hug, and every sacrifice she gave so freely.
There are no words that can fully express how much we will miss her. She was our safe place, our biggest supporter, our prayer warrior, and the center of our family. We will carry her memory in our hearts for the rest of our lives and honor her by loving one another the way she loved us.
Mom, Thank you for your love, your faith, your strength, and the beautiful family you built. We love you endlessly, and we will miss you every single day until we meet again.
