Marion Louise Davis

Marion L. Davis, 78, of Chino, passed away on May 7, 2013 at Claremont Care Center. She was born June 4, 1934 in Wybridge, Vermont and lived in Claremont for 6 years prior to moving to Chino. Marion worked for Baldwin Park Tiny Tots Pre-school for 6 years and retired in 1993. Being in the classroom was important to Marion so she returned to college to earn her ECE units to be a teacher when she was 50 years old. Marion was a woman of faith. She first attended Living Hope in Baldwin Park in 1972 then moved to Shalimar United Methodist in 1982 and First Baptist of Claremont in 2003. Marion is survived by her children Debra D. Gibson (Bill Gibson) of Shalimar, Fl, Margaret R. Christie of Chino, Ca, Cynthia A. Correa of Walnut, Ca, Kim L. Hoffman of Riverside, Ca; Her Brother Reginald A.(Frances) Kemp of Colorado; grandchildren Stuart, Kris, Christina, Eliseo, Daniel, Kristyann and Amy; and great-grandchildren Hallie, Andrya, Trinity, Noel, Rebecca, Angelina, Joseph, Courtney, Joseph, Evan and Avery. A memorial service will 11 a.m, May 25, 2013 at First Baptist of Claremont 472 N. Mountain Ave. In memory of Marion L. Davis, contributions may be made to First Baptist of Claremont.
