Although we only spoke by phone servicing her Insurance account here at State Farm , I knew this woman was one of a kind.  She was my favorite client with such a beautiful soul and kind heart.  I'm sure her family and friends will miss her tremendously!  I will miss her as well. Rest in Peace Beautiful Susan.  Elizabeth ~

Dearest Tita Suzi, 

I will truly miss your warmth, your sincerity, and your kindess. 

Every moment that I spent with you is like a burst of sunshine. From first time that I met you in 2010, to our small talks and hours of storytelling, until we said our last goodbyes in 2017, is just filled with positivity. That is a rare gift made rarer now because of your early passing. 

I will try my best to emulate you and share the same light and warmth that you've shown me to your loved ones so that this world will still feel your love.

Forgive me for wishing that you should have held on a little longer and suffered a bit more because of my selfish yearning that Marty and our baby boy can still play with you... somehow.

Rest well Tita Suzi. Say hello to Mama and Papa and give them a big hug for us.

The first time I met Tita Suzi back in 2011, I gave my usual wave and said hello, but I guess that just wouldn't do for her for she went ahead and gave me the warmest hug that I've ever gotten from a person I've just been introduced to. It was a hug that reached into your soul, which came with the words "Welcome to the family Jaz." Little did she know that the hug said it all for me. 

In the years that passed, I came to know of a lady who was genuinely interested in people and what they do, who always takes a moment to say a kind word and show her gratitude and appreciation for others. While I would have wanted to spend more years with her, I and the entire family remain thankful, for knowing a person like Tita Suzi in this lifetime is one of life's wonderful blessings. 


We love you Tita Suzi. Thank you for the blessing of knowing a person as beautiful, genuine and loving as you. You fought a good fight and for as long as you can, and everyone who knows you know that it was mostly because of your great love for your family and loved ones. While we feel immense sadness for this great loss, we find comfort in the fact that you are already free of pain and suffering. Rest in peace Tita Suzi, we'll see you on the other side (which would surely be greeted by that warm and tight hug you're best known for).

Tita Suzi, is literally the epitome of light, warmth and laughter. She embodied the true meaning of unconditional love. She is one who really listens and makes you feel supported. Even at her most trying times, she always thinks of others. From her husband Tito Jeri, son Ryan, mom Ruth down to her rescue dog, Sparky --- they are all the light and loves of her life.  We are all so privilege to have shared that light with her. We will surely miss you "our dear" Tita Suzie. We love you.

I had known Tita Suzi since I was a kid and my only regret was not getting to know her better sooner. Throughout the years, we would always be nice to each other but it was only recently that I got to share a real talk with her. She asked me to take her to go to the doctor and run some errands and looking back, it was actually the first time we were able to be alone. We started to talk and get to know each other better. I had always liked her but as she told me about her life and the things she's gone through, i found myself in awe of her. She was a kid at heart and she was so in love with life. Her soul was so pure and her aura so inspiring that it honestly made me feel a little guilty for not being as good a person as her. 

Sorrowful is the definitely a feeling you can't escape when you are talking a person like her passing away but I am so blessed to have met her. I will forever treasure the values that she showed me and I can only hope that someday, I can be as great a person as she was and will forever be remembered in my heart. I love you Tita Suzi. May you rest in peace.

You were the one that changed my life. Now I have no idea of what I am going to do without you. You gave all your love and care from the day Ryan and I came in your life. I miss you sweetie. I look forward to day we see each other again. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS

Thank you for being such a kind, warm, and welcoming presence in my life and in all the lives you touched. While I'll especially miss your kind words and the way you always seemed to find a laugh in any situation, you'll always be here in our hearts and in our memories. I will miss everything about you.... 
You were always a study in paradoxes.... You thought nothing much of spending for plants and flowers you always loved, to spruce up the beautiful home you kept with Jeri and Ryan, yet you hardly spent a cent on yourself. I saw you use the same purse and pair of shoes for years! 
You were fiercely frank and honest in your opinions, yet were never stingy with kind words and praises. 
I loved how you showed your independent spirit when you were there as the Blonde Auntie in a sea of Pinoy relatives, there for every party and get together, even when Jeri wasn't always with you. And with practically every Filipino dish put in front  of you, you said it was your favorite. And it was....You were a Pinay at heart, Sue.
Thank you for keeping Jeri centered and settled. You were the One for him. The Only one. We can't match the level of your care, but be settled and at peace in knowing that we will be there to look after him and Ryan always.
You fought a hard battle. The evening you passed, Iggy said, Heaven gained a great one today. You bet they did! Rest in peace now in the company of our Lord, Mama Mary, and of angels. I love you.  Give our love to my Mommy, Mama and Papa. Thank you for the gift of you, dear sister....
