Adell Mato

Adell Mato was born in Spur, TX on May 18, 1922. She was a graduate of Chowchilla High School. Adell married Santos Mato in 1943 and worked as a receptionist at Anderson-Clayton for 38 years. Adell was an avid reader, enjoyed playing card games, going to casinos and shopping with friends. Adell was preceded in death by her husband, Santos Mato, of 66 years, her mother, father, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Mike Mato and wife Joene of Modesto, Ca., her daughter Sandee Watson and husband Wayne of Merced, Ca., and her 5 grandaughters, Shelly Kalbaugh and husband David, Kristy Borba and husband Mike, Becky Steinhauer and husband, Chris, Tracey Mato, and Amy Kemp Van Ee and husband Jason, and her 7 great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jordyn Kalbaugh, Amanda and Nicholas Steinhauer, Trent Borba, and Mia and Ethan Kemp Van Ee. The funeral service will be held at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel located at 140 South 6th Street, Chowchilla, California 93610, on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11 am. Remembrances may be made to Chowchilla Library, 300 Kings, Chowchilla, California 93610 or your favorite charity.
