Albert Sanchotena, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2025, in Chowchilla, California, at the age of 54. Born on May 2, 1971, in Bakersfield, California.
Albert's love story with his wife and best friend, Gina, spanned over three decades, filled with shared dreams and mutual support. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their sons, Christopher, who, with his wife Kyla, gave Albert the gift of being a grandfather to River, and Kyle, who, along with his girlfriend Maddie, continued to bring joy into their lives. Albert also opened his heart and home to his nephew Freddie, nurturing him as his own.
The Sanchotena family was Albert's pride and joy. He was a devoted son to his mother, Adelaida, and honored the memory of his late father, Jean Pierre. His mother-in-law, Marilyn Rabbiosi, held a special place in his life. Albert's siblings; Fred and his wife Lisa Ayon, Virginia and her husband Frank Ramirez, Mary and her husband Rondey Aguirre, Anita and her husband Javier Marticorena, and John and his wife Maribel, along with his 18 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews, will forever remember his guiding presence.
Professionally, Albert was a respected supervisor at CVC Holdings Corp, where his leadership and dedication were evident to all who worked alongside him for over 21 years.
Albert's passions were as vast as the great outdoors he so loved. An avid fisherman, hunter, and camper, he found solace and excitement in the embrace of nature. His annual Reno trip with the family was a cherished tradition, filled with laughter and camaraderie.
Albert's legacy is not only in the love he shared but also in the countless memories etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His infectious smile, hearty laugh, and the unwavering support he provided will be profoundly missed. As we bid farewell to Albert Sanchotena, we celebrate a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and memories that will continue to inspire and comfort us all. His spirit lives on in the quiet rivers where he fished, the vast forests where he hunted, and most importantly, in the love he fostered in his family and friends.
Albert's life reminds us that the true measure of a person lies in the warmth they leave behind in the hearts of others. He navigated life's journey with grace, fortitude, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. As we remember Albert, let us honor his legacy by embracing each day with the same kindness and generosity he exemplified. Rest in peace, Albert; your memory will forever be a beacon of love and family unity.
