Cynthia Aileen Coberley Lane was born in Calexico, California on June 13, 1954, the fifth child of Stella Marie Vandiver and Joe Harlow Coberley. and entered into Gods' peaceful rest on February 19, 2024, in Chowchilla, California.
Cynthia had six siblings, Joe Harlow Coberley, Eunice May Maddalena, Andrew Jefferson Coberley, Ivan Ray Coberley, Caryon Arlene Baird, and Milton Leroy Coberley.
Cyndy lived in or around Merced most of her adult life, she was a cook at the Old Mill Cafe in Modesto and was known for her homemade biscuits and gravy.
She is survived by her husband Mark Lane of Klamath Falls, Oregon, her two children, Christopher and Tammy Furtado of Chowchilla, California, Christina and Branden Puckett of Merced, California. Grandchildren, Mikayla, Madisyn, Julianna, Allisyn, Rayce, Cynthia, Branden, Great grandchild Jolene. She also leaves behind her brother Joe Coberly, sisters Eunice Maddalena and Caryon Baird.
Cyndy is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Marie Coberley, and her brothers Andrew, Leroy, and Ivan Ray (Pete) Coberley.
Ms. Lane will be laid to rest at the Merced District Cemetery Garden of Flora Cremation Niche #C-7.
