Deborah Lynn Olson

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Deborah Lynn Olsen, 59 of Friant, California. She passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025.

Debbie, as she was affectionately known, will be deeply missed by her family and her friends.

Born June 30, 1965, in San Pablo, California, Debbie graduated from Chowchilla High School and went into retail.

Debbie possessed a remarkable creative spirit. She found immense joy in crafting handmade jewelry and collecting Native American art and artifacts. This hobby also reflected her deep appreciation for all beauty and craftsmanship.

A lover of nature, she found solace and inspiration in the sights and sounds of the natural world, particularly in the songs of birds. Her kind heart extended to all creatures, great and small.

Debbie’s generosity was legendary; she often prioritized the needs of others above her own, which was a testament to her compassionate and selfless nature. While of modest means; she enriched the lives of those around her with her caring spirit. She was truly a beautiful soul, and her faith in Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of her life. In her later years, Debbie found comfort and companionship living close to her beloved mother.

Funeral Service for Debbie will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California.
