Dennis John Corsaro

Dennis grew up in Fresno’s Sunnyside area, and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Fresno with the Class of 1959. Later Dennis moved to Chowchilla in 1982 where he met his wife Janet at the Frosty and later married at the MGM Grand in Reno Nevada spending the next 39 ½ years with her. Dennis was a very passionate sports fanatic, especially for the Fresno State Bulldogs or any team that his grandchildren played on. You would always find him in the stands at all of his grandkids games. He was also a lover of knowledge and an avid reader. Dennis loved his trips with his wife Janet and family to the coast or to the Casino’s.

If you knew Corsaro’s Italian Restaurant and Corsaro’s Family Pizza you knew you would find Dennis there cooking and serving the most amazing dinners or pizza for a combined total of 35 years.

He was also a trustee and member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Chowchilla.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife Janet Corsaro, his children Vince Corsaro, Leslie Corsaro, Kristi Pahnke (Scott), Dawnette Borba (Bart), Tim Linhares (Lisa), and Chris Linhares (Michelle), Nine Grandchildren, Wesley Borba (Karlee), Danielle Pickard (Tyson), Savannah Linhares, Lindsey Baird, Sierra Linhares, Noah Linhares, and Faith Linhares, Six Great Grandchildren, Peyton Borba, Joshua Pickard, Aubree Borba, Ace Pickard, Jordan Pickard, and Andi Pickard. Dennis also leaves behind his brother Mike Corsaro (Kay), nephew Dennis Corsaro (Todd), and his beloved dogs Minnie and Freida Corsaro.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents John and Frieda Corsaro, and his beloved dogs Inga and Fritz Corsaro.

Service will be held at Valley Harvest Church followed by graveside at the Chowchilla Cemetery District on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 10:00 am.

The family would like to invite family and friends to the Faith Hall for a reception following the service.
