JoAnn Holtzclaw, 73, of Fort Bragg, California, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, in Madera County, California. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on September 22, 1951 and lived a life marked by dedication to her work and love for her family.
JoAnn began her career with Beacon Oil in Chowchilla, California, before moving to Fort Bragg in 1992 to manage their coastal location. In 1996, she sought new experiences, living in Kings Beach, Willits, and returning to Chowchilla before settling back in Fort Bragg in 2002 to be closer to her beloved grandchildren. Over the years, JoAnn held various jobs but found her professional home at Mendo Mill, where she worked for 15 years and met the love of her life, Tim.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her son Michael; stepfather Stanley; sister Charlotte; and brothers Rick, Wayne, and David. She is survived by her mother Wanda Fulkerson; partner Tim Kane; son Rick Mollett and his wife Marcia; brothers Michael Kamalakis, Stanley Fulkerson, and Chris Fulkerson; grandchildren Ricky (Kylara) and Kristyna Mollett; great-grandchildren Kenzie, Carter, and Austin Mollett; several nieces and nephews and her best friend of over 40 years, Fay Summers.
Although JoAnn’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. As you continue to worship Jesus up there, dear JoAnn, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Private services will be held by the Family.
