Joy is survived by her beloved partner for over 50 years Jose Rose Martinez, her daughter Kelly Sue Murphy; her grandson Jarrod and Kevin Murphy, her great grandchildren Corbin Brendan, Skyler, Mickey Torrance and Aundrea Peterson; and her great great children Xander, Alex, Aiden, and Alazanna.

Joylazelle was preceded in death by her mother Lois Lorene Newman (Neighbors) and her father David Fredrick Newman.
