Our sweet loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on November 29, 2015 after a short illness. Lorraine was born on January 15, 1930 in Merced, CA to Frank and Orpha Campodonica. She was the third of six children.
As a child she became known as “Cappy”, a name her friends knew and loved her by. She attended and graduated from Merced schools. Being a sports enthusiast she became an avid softball player.
Cappy met her husband, Bob on a blind date in Merced. They were married in 1950. Bob and Cappy made their first home in the El Nido area for a few years and then moved to the Alamo area where Bob farmed with his father. Cappy quickly became not just a daughter-in-law but a daughter and sister to the whole Dill family. They soon started their own family and had three sons of their own. She loved her family with all of her heart and they were the most important things in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Orpha Campodonica; stepmother, Florence Campodonica; loving son, Rodney and three of her brothers, Carlston, Denny and Bobby,
