Mathilde was born in Grafing Bnf, Bavaria, Germany to her parents Hubert and Karoline Kurzinger. She was the seventh of ten children.
Mathilde married the Love of her Life Ronald Lawson in Munich, Germany August 30. 1963. Together they raised their two daughters Cynthia and Nancy as Army Brats traveling the world with his Military Life.
Due to her love of children and babies she dedicated her later life to caring for several children that became extended family and God Children.
No matter where they lived, Mathilde would always say, "Home is where Ronnie is."
A Celebration of Life for Mathilde will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel, 140 S 6th Street, Chowchilla, California.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ron, her parents, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.
