Nicolas Falcon Jr. was born on March 16, 1943 to Nicolas Falcon and Isabel Talamantez in Brackettville, Texas. Nicolas was a hardworking man throughout his life. He worked as a sheep shearer in his early life and in his latter years he worked for Anderson Clayton in Fresno, California as a cotton ginner. He had a real zest for life and had many hobbies; which included listening to Mariachi music; he loved wood working and making his own furniture; enjoyed long early morning drives; he had a real sweet tooth and loved taking his coffee with cookies; one of his pastimes was to watch old western movies and his favorite actor was John Wayne which he had the privilege to meet when John was recording his movie The Alamo in Texas. He loved horseback riding, his cowboy boots and hat, that he wore everywhere. Nicolas was known to start the day with prayer. He loved being outdoors. But what Nicolas truly enjoyed in this life was his family and friends; he was a loving and caring father and grandfather. He enjoyed it when the family got together for B.B.Q.’s. He spent his life taking care of his family and making sure that they were alright. He is loved by all and will be truly missed, but never forgotten; his memory will go on in the hearts of all those that knew him.
